PROFILE architecture The overarching objective of our design approach is to create durable, humane, and sustainable architecture, with the innate ability to withstand time and be enjoyed. Long term sustainability is attained through architectural quality and comprehensive approach that also considers socio-cultural sustainability as part of the ecological capability of the environment. Each design assignment is regarded as individual and invested with all the resources required for its successful realization. For us the design concept, choice of materials, and the careful detailing are all essential to quality and architectural integrity, an approach that serves the client as well as upholds the ethical responsibilities of the architect in our shared environment. development We feel that in the shifting field of design a questioning stance is a prerequisite of developing architecture. The architect’s role in society is changing. This means communicating our approach and ideas to public as well as participating actively and more openly in forming the ideas that shape our common physical environment. It is for this reason we engage in research, education, development projects, and have successfully evolved our building- and conceptual design skills in the architectural competitions. media The different facets of architectural discourse are represented in our practice through writing for different periodicals and other media, such as documentary, exhibitions and presentations. Our publications cover books and articles on architecture reflecting on the transformations within architecture and urban design. Our design works has also been published in domestic and international architectural journals. |
